DIY Felt Mobile Case - Jordan Air Logo

When my son, Chico saw the Captain America Mobile case that I made for Lemon..he immediately request for his own! He wants a basketball design.

The problem is – I don’t have orange felts! I thought of painting the skin felt with orange but the color would not be vibrant as a ball. So instead of basketball, I searched a design from the web that my son would surely appreciate ( I hope so!) – there came the logo of Jordan Air.

Look at it J

Hmmm… I already have a collection of felt mobile cases!

DIY Felt Mobile Phone Case

Love this mobile phone case!

I don’t have a mobile phone case for my Huawei G510 eversince a got it from SunCellular..It is slim and long so I have a hard time looking for the perfect fit for it.

And because I have stocks of felt cloth on hand.. I decided to try making one for my phone.

It’s a simple craft of sewing – I just have 3 colors of felt (skin, blue green, black and hot pink) so Cookie Monster is just right for me!

Wait for my next post. I already have an idea for my son’s mobile case! I’ll be making it tonight!
Watch out!

Have you tried making crafts made of felts?

Na-Na: My First Handmade Cloth Doll

After 3 nights (after office)  of stitching and stuffing, I finally made my own Handmade Cloth Doll – Nana. I named it after my niece.

I wanted to use felt kaya lang wala akong mabilhan..so ended up using old tshirts. I also wanted to use felt for the eyes so again, I ended up using fabric paints. Na-na’s hair was made of yellow yard (for her yellow eyes!). Isn’t she lovely?

My colleague, #Bona whose been very supportive to me asked me to make another one using felt. The cloth that I used kasi with Na-na stretched after stuffing that’s why she became longer than the pattern. Hmmm.. If I’ll find some felt in Santa Cruz, why not, diba?  J

For sure, I’ll be busy making clothes for Na-na this weekend J

Will keep you posted!

What do you think of my Cloth Doll? Have you also made one?

Cloth Doll Ideas

I’ve always wanted to make a cloth doll for my little niece, #Na-Na but I just have the urged to slowly do it this week.
I have ideas coming from #Shelly of Gingermelon, you should visit her site. And because all of her creations were cute, I find it hard to make my own design! Harhar

For the doll’s face, I’m thinking of using fabric paints. Im just worried because I am still not comfortable with paint. Another option is to use colored pens. And the other is to hand embroidered the eyes and lips, which is very tedious.

I already made my patterns. I even pasted it on card board. I’m on my way now on tracing it on felt cloth. I dunno were to buy colored felt/wool cloth and synthetic fillings! L
Maybe I should test it first on jeans or old tshirt/blouses. What do you think?

Anyways, my colleague volunteered to buy the things I needed in Calamba. Hope to have my supplies tomorrow so I could start stitching!

Goodluck – to me!

By the way, I’m already done with my cloth name for my little bun! Will post it on my 35th week of pregnancy J
